Small Business Summer Series - SINGLE SESSION
You know how it goes: You have big ambitions for the summer! Big plans! Awesome new business ideas to implement! And then September rolls around and you find yourself exactly where you were in May.
Not this year! We’re getting a group of local small business owners together who are ready to work on their businesses this summer, not just in them.
The Hub, North: Small Business Summer Series is 4 in-person workshops (1 each month June through September). We will cover The Hub, North’s NORTHBOUND: 7 steps from Idea to Launch Framework as well as take a deep dive into things like visibility, content creation and finances.
During the summer, you will also have access to The Hub, North’s Online Community for Small Business Owners, so that you can keep in touch and support each other on the things you’re working on during the summer. There is nothing like a group of local small business owners cheering you on!
The 4 sessions will take place at separate locations throughout Ashtabula County, as we support those businesses as well.

Intro to NORTHBOUND: From Idea to Launch Framework - hands-on steps 1 - 3, discussion around confidence in your business, the THINK 10X mindset and why we lose steam during the summer (and how to avoid it). Onboard to The Hub, North Online Community.
07/14/2026: Brants Apple Orchard 1pm-3pm: NORTHBOUND: Step 4. Deep dive into branding and visibility. Hands-on AI tools and learn CapCut for easy video editing. Decide which social media platforms are right for your business and create content/ POST while you’re in the room!
08/18/2026: Briquettes Smokehouse 1pm-3pm: NORTHBOUND: Step 5. Deep dive into small business finance. Explore the Profit First method, group discussion on pricing confidence and positioning, learn about resources your business can use TODAY.
09/22/2026: Woodsong Acres B&B + Cidery 1pm-4pm: The End of Summer Party 🎉. NORTHBOUND Steps 5-7, debreif of NORTHBOUND framework, deep-dive into planning what’s next for your business and what’s next for The Hub, North. This will be FUN - you don’t want to miss it!
